Mrs. Crumb's exports its orders every night, and every night the sheet comes out a little different. Click any red cell to fix it, or let me do the whole sheet. Then play with the numbers.
Demo project. Fictional bakery, invented orders.
Clean the sheet first. A filter on dirty data only gives you a confident wrong number.
I flagged them instead of guessing. They also show up in the Notes column of the file.
" anna rossi " and "LUCA BIANCHI" become "Anna Rossi" and "Luca Bianchi". Invisible spaces are the usual reason two customers refuse to match.
Three date styles become one. A date that can't exist, like a 13th month, is flagged for you instead of being quietly turned into something else.
"€3,20" is text, so SUM skips it. After the fix it is a real number and the totals finally add up.
Order 1042 was exported twice. Same order, same content, so one copy stays and the sheet says which one went.
No quantity, no email, a negative number. They go into a Notes column and a short list for you. A made-up value is worse than an empty cell.
The line totals and the summary sheet are real formulas. Change a price and everything below it follows.
The orders on this page are invented, and the cleaning here runs in your browser. The file you can download is a real workbook with the raw sheet, the clean sheet and a summary, built the same way I would build yours.
A sheet that bites back?
Send me the export. You get a clean workbook, a short list of the cells I could not decide for you, and a one-page summary you can read in a minute.
